Confluence is a technical indicator on a chart, displaying when best it is to possibly sell or buy in trading. Traders, through confluence, can detect the certainty of the signal— whether it truly is the perfect time to sell or buy.

Filling charts with multiple indicators doesn't necessarily guarantee the chances of a trader detecting a confluence; Aside from the fact that people tend to see what they set their mind on, whether it's real or just a fiction of their imagination, that filling can end up confusing them.
