An investor that is on standby or has a strong interest in funding crypto projects even without anybody pitching opportunities to them.

An angel investor is a special kind of investor that pays attention to investment opportunities and takes the initiative to fund projects. This kind of investor may or may not be knowledgeable about the investment field or even the project in question, but they are generally wealthy and are only looking to have convenient income sources. The angel investor is also considered the best investor a trader can ask for in that they do not often participate in decision-making processes, but are happy to sponsor profitable projects.

Having an angel investor or two for a crypto project is not without its detriments. For one, they tend to ask for partial ownership instead of simply getting paid interest on loans.
