A Satoshi is the smallest fraction of a bitcoin that amounts to a value of 0.00000001 BTC. Although it does not have a symbol that has been attached to it to distinguish between other currencies, it is still able to serve well as an accepted medium of exchange because it is Bitcoin’s smallest currency.

Even though all bitcoin wallets accept satoshis, users are expected to check for the minimum amount limit before using them. Also, when selecting a wallet to keep satoshi, users should allot additional importance to picking the ones that can save private keys.
