A vanity address is a customized string of alphanumeric characters that serve as the wallet address of a user. The difference between these characters and the network-generated address is that the former is specially selected by the user, thereby having greater significance to them outside a key. The advantage of having a vanity address, therefore, is that the user can select an address that they can easily remember.

Vaporware refers to the category of cryptocurrency projects that were conceptualized but never developed. In other words, the developers of these projects had an outline and maybe a roadmap for them, but could not implement these projects due to a lack of resources or other factors.

If scores were kept of all the crypto projects that have ever been theorized, vaporware would make up the majority of these projects. Essentially, it is any idea thought up and reasoned to bring about some benefit but never passed this stage. Thus, it is only vapor.

A validator is a crypto user that participates in the validation processes necessary for transactions on proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain networks. This role is the equivalent of a miner in proof-of-work (PoW) networks, except that in the former consensus system, the user needs to stake a specific number of tokens before they can take up the role of a validator.

Validators generally earn a bit more than ordinary users on any blockchain that uses the PoS consensus mechanism. Moreover, it is on account of their work that the PoS framework is generally more efficient and transparent compared to the PoW framework.
